Responsibilities
- Lead field survey teams in executing boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
- Operate and maintain precision instruments including total stations, GNSS receivers, laser scanners, levels, and data collectors.
- Create accurate field notes and sketches to record survey activities and findings.
- Follow project specifications, objectives, and schedules as directed by the Survey Team Leader.
- Use survey software to download, process, and verify data, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Support project monitoring, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Communicate promptly with leadership regarding delays or challenges affecting project progress.
- Enforce safety procedures, conduct equipment checks, and manage personal protective equipment inventory.
- Train and mentor junior crew members while assisting in performance evaluations.
