What You'll Do
Manage surgical case postings and maintain accurate patient records through integrated systems. Serve as a central point of contact between surgeons, patients, and the operating room team. Confirm pre-surgical requirements are met, including insurance approvals, physician clearances, and procedural preparations. Use Care Sense and EPIC to track patient progress and receive real-time updates on surgical schedules.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum two years of experience in a medical setting
- Proven familiarity with medical terminology
Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of surgical area experience.
