nVent is hiring a Surge Protection Sales Manager - (ERICO) North America

About the Role

nVent is looking for a Surge Protection Sales Manager to lead demand creation and product expertise for our Electrical Connections business. In this role, you will provide market expertise to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and deliver exceptional customer value across the United States and Canada for the ERICO Surge Brands.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and drive sales strategy and execution while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team.
  • Conduct market research and planning to identify team sales growth opportunities.
  • Understand competitive markets to better position sales and marketing opportunities.
  • Lead high-level relationships with Key Accounts and negotiate high-level contracts.
  • Drive revenue achievement, customer growth, and conversion via job sites, end users, panel shops, contractors, specifiers, installers, and cross-selling nVent solutions.
  • Partner with local Reps (Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Manufacturing Reps).
  • Manage national, regional, and local programs (e.g., rebate programs for end users and contractors).
  • Act as a voice of the customer conduit between the field and support functions.
  • Educate and mentor RSMs, agents, and channel sales teams on application and value-based selling of ERICO Surge Products.
  • Partner with Sales Director, Regional Sales Managers, and EFS Channel on market training, pricing initiatives, and local branch marketing.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering (preferred), or applicable experience in technical electrical sales.
  • Ability to remotely work from a home office anywhere in the US and travel on average 50% of the time throughout the US and Canadian Markets.
  • Previous experience in or with surge protection or switchgear sales.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical electrical sales, selling to contractors, panel shops, and OEMs.
  • Experience leading outside and inside sales teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Physically capable of navigating construction project sites; holds a valid driver’s license; ability to travel internationally.

  • Compensation: Geographic Region A: $114,500.00 - $212,600.00 +; Geographic Region B: $119,200.00 - $221,400.00 +; Geographic Region C: $130,100.00 - $241,500.00 +
