JFrog is looking for a Support Engineer to serve as a key technical resource tackling unprecedented customer issues. You will dive deep into the JFrog Platform's integration within sophisticated customer environments, providing analysis and resolution for multifaceted problems.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary technical resource for complex, unprecedented customer issues.
- Provide analysis and resolution for multifaceted problems involving the JFrog Platform and its integration into sophisticated environments.
- Write custom scripts in Bash, Python, or Shell to automate diagnostics and extract data.
- Analyze log files, thread dumps, HTTP traffic, and syslogs to solve issues and bottlenecks.
- Work with authentication mechanisms like LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and SCIM and reverse proxies such as Nginx and Apache products (HTTPD/Tomcat).
- Review C# code, debugging and detecting bugs or runtime issues.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer logs, system performance data, and environment configurations to identify root causes of elusive issues.
- Replicate intricate customer architectures and usage patterns to diagnose and validate solutions for complex bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate directly with customers' senior technical teams to understand their challenges.
- Develop and disseminate troubleshooting methodologies and create internal documentation and best practice guides for complex scenarios.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and identify trends in customer escalations to develop resources and training.
- Participate in continuous product improvement by collaborating with R&D on bug fixes.
- Translate complex customer feedback and technical findings into actionable insights for product improvement and bug resolution.
- Partner with field and success teams to provide consultation on strategic customer accounts.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems plus 2 years of experience.
- Experience writing custom scripts (Bash, Python, Shell) to automate diagnostics and extract data.
- Experience analyzing log files, thread dumps, HTTP traffic, and syslogs to solve issues and bottlenecks.
- Experience using authentication mechanisms [LDAP, SAML, OAuth, SCIM/reverse proxies (Nginx), Apache products (HTTPD/Tomcat)].
- Experience reviewing C# code, debugging and detecting bugs or runtime issues.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $149,365 to $160,000 plus an equity package of restricted stock units (RSU).
