What You'll Do
Oversee daily transport operations, managing team assignments, scheduling, and task execution to support reliable logistics performance. Guide team members with clear direction and reinforce a culture of safety and accountability across all activities.
Work closely with clients and transportation partners to meet key performance indicators, resolve delivery disruptions, and ensure timely, accurate documentation—including proof of delivery, delivery notes, and loading instructions. Use Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) to plan, monitor, and execute shipments efficiently.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve process reliability. Maintain up-to-date transportation records and ensure data integrity in tracking systems. Support vendor management by evaluating transporter performance and providing actionable feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience in transport or logistics operations
- At least two years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of OTM and standard transport procedures
- Familiarity with delivery notes, loading instructions, and transportation documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and team management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree, ideally in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field, is preferred but not required.
