Enbridge is seeking a Supervisor Safety Construction Canada to champion a culture of safety and accountability across all levels of project execution. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of field-based Safety Professionals, ensuring the successful implementation of safety programs and initiatives that protect our people and strengthen our partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team of field-based Safety Professionals providing health and safety advisory, mentorship, and assurance support throughout construction execution.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of safety programs and initiatives aligned with project goals.
- Provide subject matter expertise on field-based safety systems, including contractor safety management, safety performance monitoring, and event analysis.
- Assist in the development of effective corrective actions following safety events or observations.
- Actively contribute to the Projects Safety team’s strategic goals and initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- A University degree, diploma, or certification in Occupational Health or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional related work experience.
- Proven experience leading field-based contracted safety teams within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of basic project management skills and the ability to oversee and maintain progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of contractor safety management systems and performance metrics.
- Strong knowledge of Hazard management, including Energy-based hazards.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze safety events and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills.
Nice to Have
- Heavy industrial construction Safety experience in Oil and Gas.
