Responsibilities
- Oversee and organize quality management functions within the combustible/operations division.
- Assist operational teams in meeting quality objectives and advancing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guarantee adherence to internal quality protocols and external standards such as ISO 9001 and customer-specific audits.
- Serve as the central point for communication on quality-related matters internally.
- Manage and coordinate responses to internal and external quality incidents, ensuring proper documentation in designated systems.
- Perform internal audits in alignment with established quality standards.
- Evaluate and authorize the release of new products, processes, and equipment impacting quality performance.
- Provide quality support across projects to meet targets and ensure qualification requirements are fulfilled.
- Lead problem-solving efforts and corrective action tracking using structured methods like A3 or 8D.
- Monitor production quality continuously throughout manufacturing processes.
- Identify and propose targeted investments to sustainably improve quality outcomes.
- Lead and support the on-site quality team in daily operations and strategic goals.
