Churchill Downs is looking for a Supervisor, Floor to oversee gaming operations and personnel within a designated area. As an ambassador of southern hospitality, you will help craft moments of joy for our guests while ensuring a secure and professional gaming environment.
What You'll Do
- Explain and interpret house rules, such as game rules and betting limits, for guests.
- Monitor and verify the counting and distribution of currency and chips.
- Observe game operations to ensure team members follow house rules and provide prompt, courteous service.
- Observe guest behavior for signs of cheating, such as marking or switching cards, and report findings to the Shift Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of table games, including blackjack, craps, roulette, and specialty games.
- Maintain familiarity with all games used on the floor.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documentation.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or staff.
- Ability to write and present information to management.
- Ability to perform normal mathematical computations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Shift Supervisor, working as part of a team dedicated to maintaining the integrity and excitement of our gaming operations.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position requiring your presence at the Churchill Downs facility.
