Henry Ford Health is seeking a Supervisor-Credits/Undistributed for our Corporate Business Office (CBO). This role coordinates and leads a designated area within the CBO across our multi-facility integrated healthcare delivery system, which includes billing for HFHS hospitals, outpatient clinics, and employed physicians. You will provide oversight to ensure timely billing processing and accurate response to customers.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and lead the Credits/Undistributed department within the Corporate Business Office.
- Provide oversight and support to ensure timely billing processing and accurate response to customers.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with departments to resolve patient inquiries.
What We're Looking For
- Two years of experience with healthcare accounts receivable.
- Knowledge of best practices related to revenue cycle operations and day-to-day functionality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff.
- Ability to manage, coordinate, and lead simultaneously.
- Ability to estimate time frames and meet projected deadlines.
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals in executive, managerial, and staff-level positions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to understand and lead change.
- Goal oriented, with exceptional interpersonal skills, change management, and political skill.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of CPT and diagnosis coding and Third Party billing regulations.
- Experience at a large, complex, integrated healthcare organization.
- Experience with insurance billing, patient accounting systems, and other related applications.
