McCormick is looking for a Payroll Manager to provide operational leadership for our payroll processes across the EMEA region. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, continuity, and quality of payroll in a complex multi-country environment, with occasional interactions in North America.

What You'll Do

Supervise and coordinate payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
Act as a senior escalation point for complex payroll issues and cross-functional operational challenges.
Serve as a backup for key functions within the region, notably UK payroll if necessary.
Provide occasional support for activities outside EMEA, including North America and South Africa.
Support the France Payroll team on complex or high-stakes activities.
Provide expertise on specific cases or processes like profit-sharing calculations and complex regulatory changes.
Monitor performance indicators (KPIs), service levels, and the quality of payroll process execution across countries.
Identify operational risks and secure the continuity of payroll activities for your assigned scope.
Ensure quality documentation, audit preparation, and compliance with internal policies and local legislation.
Contribute to internal and external audits as needed.
Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Total Rewards teams to ensure alignment and a high level of service.

What We're Looking For

Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Management, or equivalent.
Significant experience in payroll, ideally gained in complex multi-country environments.
Proven experience managing or coordinating payroll across an EMEA scope.
Good knowledge of French payroll legislation.
Experience managing complex situations and payroll escalations.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong data analysis skills.
Natural leadership, influencing skills, and comfort in a matrix environment.
Fluent English is essential.
