Responsibilities
- Foster a proactive safety environment by enforcing compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Supervise and delegate tasks to General Foremen and field crews, including involvement in union staffing procedures
- Coordinate with IBEW representatives to recruit, hire, and manage unionized labor forces
- Enforce quality assurance and adherence to company safety protocols and construction standards
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with local unions in alignment with collective bargaining agreements
- Support General Foremen in organizing crew schedules, tools, and equipment to optimize efficiency and reduce idle time
- Partner with engineering and project management teams to establish and maintain project timelines
- Evaluate project output, track field progress, and implement corrective measures to ensure performance and profitability
- Review and authorize timesheets, payroll records, and daily field activity reports
- Assist project teams in bid preparation, constructability reviews, and pre-construction planning
- Participate in the verification and approval of as-built drawings and documentation
- Coordinate with project staff to ensure timely material delivery, subcontractor oversight, and adherence to contract terms
- Support the compilation of final project closeout records and deliverables
- Provide training, coaching, and performance accountability for field staff development
- Conduct on-site safety briefings and job-specific training sessions
- Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by management
