About the Role
This position involves engaging with homeowners to introduce solar energy options, explaining benefits, and guiding them through the initial stages of adoption. The representative will work in the field, scheduling and conducting in-person consultations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to share information about solar energy
- Schedule home consultations for interested customers
- Explain technical and financial aspects of solar installation
- Respond to customer questions with clear, accurate details
- Use tablets or mobile devices to record interactions
- Meet daily outreach and appointment targets
- Follow up with leads in a timely manner
- Represent the company at community events or booths
- Maintain professionalism during all customer interactions
- Adhere to compliance and safety guidelines in the field
- Work independently with minimal daily supervision
- Travel between neighborhoods using personal or company-provided transportation
- Educate homeowners on energy savings and environmental impact
- Track sales activities in the company's CRM system
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer handoffs
- Deliver consistent messaging aligned with company standards
- Handle objections with transparency and respect
- Stay updated on product and policy changes
- Uphold brand reputation during all public interactions
- Complete required training modules before starting field work
- Report field challenges or feedback to supervisors

Compensation
