Michels Utility Services, Inc. is hiring a Substation Estimator

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or a comparable mix of education and professional experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in cost estimation, utility infrastructure, or electrical construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience in subcontractor coordination and contract negotiation
  • Valid driver’s license supported by a satisfactory driving history

Nice to Have

  • Background in substation, transmission line, or utility construction estimating
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and estimating platforms such as Accubid, HCSS, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with project management principles or field operations
  • Prior experience collaborating with utility providers or power delivery contractors
