Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced technical expertise and senior-level engineering assistance for deploying and integrating classified satellite equipment.
- Conduct on-site and remote engineering support, including temporary duty assignments, for the Secretary of Defense Communications Office.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues while supporting engineering design, circuit status reporting, and integration with Department of War and DISA classified programs.
- Support testing, evaluation, and network assessments to certify operational readiness for executive transport aircraft systems.
- Advise Aircraft Management Offices on network architecture improvements and emerging technology integration opportunities.
- Monitor and document changes in classified satellite system configurations, capabilities, and operational procedures.
- Regularly update and distribute engineering documentation to keep stakeholders informed of system architecture and status.
- Assess commercial technologies for potential use in meeting classified network requirements.
