Corewell Health is hiring a Student Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at Dearborn Hospital. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer. You will assume responsibility for patient safety and coordinate routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic work, embodying our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under supervision.
- Assume responsibility and maintain the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
- Assure equipment and supplies are present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each imaging procedure.
- Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, and trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards.
- Follow the Corewell philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as a second-year student in an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, and/or Ultrasonography program.
- Must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
