Responsibilities
- Independently produces or oversees the development of engineering deliverables that satisfy client quality standards.
- Identifies project requirements, determines scope, develops budgets and timelines, plans execution, leads technical efforts, and communicates progress.
- Develops comprehensive engineering calculations, technical drawings, procurement materials, design and installation plans, bid assessments, analytical reports, and in-depth studies.
- Supports additional engineering tasks as needed across various project phases.
- May be assigned to a specific project team or serve as the lead for a technical discipline on small to mid-sized projects.
- Offers technical input and mentorship to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers on shared projects.
- Completes other duties as assigned and relevant to the role.
- Conducts and supervises structural design work for new construction or rehabilitation of rail and transit systems.
- Executes challenging engineering tasks using advanced techniques and analyses within a specialized discipline.
