Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Structural Engineer for its Rail and Transit team. This hybrid remote role focuses on designing, analyzing, and delivering major rail and transit infrastructure projects. You will be part of a group that has designed and delivered critical infrastructure for over 80 years, working on projects that improve communities and enhance mobility.

What You'll Do

• Independently develop and supervise engineering products that meet quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers.
• Perform and oversee structural designs for new and rehabilitated rail/transit facilities.
• Complete a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying advanced techniques and analyses.
• Serve as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on small to intermediate projects.
• Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
• Travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction sites as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer registration may be required.
• Experience with industry-standard structural design software.

Nice to Have

• Experience with NY/NJ Rail Agencies such as MTA, PANYNJ, or NJ Transit.
• 3D Modeling Experience with tools like Revit.
