Responsibilities

  • Review construction documents for consistency and accuracy
  • Support project teams during plan check and permitting phases
  • Participate in site visits to observe construction progress
  • Coordinate with architects and other consultants
  • Produce revisions based on feedback from engineers and clients
  • Maintain organized project files and design records
  • Use structural analysis software to validate designs
  • Prepare material takeoffs and quantity estimates
  • Ensure designs adhere to local and national building codes
  • Assist in developing construction specifications
