- Build and maintain CATIA V5 assemblies for seats and premium suites; manage positioning, constraints, and BOM structure.
- Run clash/interference analyses between seats/suites and adjacent aircraft systems/structures; document issues and propose fixes.
- Prepare Seat MDB (Model-Based Drawings) that capture installation details (seat/suite locations, hardware/fasteners, access/clearance, sequence notes) to enable shop-floor execution by manufacturing engineering.
- Support concept layouts to preliminary design and then to final design for interior components and hardware integration to meet customer requirements.
- Implement design adjustments driven by customer change requests and certification inputs, update 3D models and associated datasets.
- Review supplier drawings for fit, form, interface, and standards compliance; record comments and track closure.
- Execute daily configuration and data management in ENOVIA/PLM; maintain traceability of source data and change history.
- Collaborate with project engineering, program teams, and technical staff to define/implement practical engineering solutions; escalate risks early.
- Apply Boeing drafting practices and basic tolerance/GD&T principles to ensure clear product definition throughout the lifecycle.
