Hunt St is hiring a Strategic Support Specialist (005-00253) to function as the strategic support partner to our debt advisory strategists. Your core mission is to ensure all relevant supporting evidence, data, and research is prepared and organized before the strategist begins their work, instrumental in creating a new standard of operational excellence for our premium service.
What You'll Do
- Ensure all supporting evidence is prepared and organized.
- Set up Quickli scenarios and conduct credit checks during strategy preparation.
- Prepare broker handovers and analyse financial statements & tax returns.
- Monitor lender product updates and maintain comprehensive rates cards.
- Research market trends and collate regulatory changes into our knowledge systems.
- Compile weekly intelligence reports.
- Coordinate valuations with lenders, managing timelines and follow-up.
- Handle disputes and reorders for valuations.
- Provide clear, actionable summaries to strategists.
- Maintain our lender database (policies, rates, requirements) and BDM contact database.
- Research lender appetite for complex scenarios.
- Create policy comparison documents and build a reference database for future matching.
- Draft email responses for strategist approval and create presentation materials from templates.
- Support cross-team collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Mortgage industry knowledge: rates, products, lending criteria, and the Australian market.
- Credit assessment proficiency: reports, scoring, and serviceability calculations.
- Financial analysis skills: statements, tax returns, and complex income structures.
- Regulatory compliance understanding: NCCP, responsible lending, and industry standards.
