The Opportunity We seek an exceptional Strategic Solutions Engineer to support our enterprise business growth. You will collaborate with our sales team to promote an API-first development culture, nurture customer relationships, and guide users in maximizing our platform's potential. Ideally, we're looking for an API enthusiast with enterprise sales experience, JavaScript proficiency, and expert product knowledge. Our cross-functional teams - sales, customer success, product, and engineering - will provide robust support in this role. What You'll Do - Drive enterprise sales by nurturing prospects and supporting strategic customers - Conduct technical demonstrations, discovery sessions, and value workshops - Address technical inquiries and provide comprehensive solutions - Deeply understand customer workflows and API development best practices - Share customer feedback and advocate for customer needs - Stay current with API market trends and competitive landscape - Create proof-of-concept integrations and workflows - Develop and maintain customer sandbox environments - Act as a technical intermediary between sales and other teams About You - 10+ years of enterprise sales/solutions engineering experience - 6+ years of software development background - 6+ years of API and data platform expertise - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Remote work compatible with up to 50% travel - Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments - Experienced in customer-facing roles across technological levels - Capable of engaging senior management and executives - Strong API understanding and development methodology knowledge - Comfortable with enterprise SaaS sales processes - Proficient in developer tooling - Excellent communication skills - Fast learner with technology passion What Else?
