Parsons is hiring a Strategic Pursuits & Project Delivery Leader for our Western Canada Operations Team. This pivotal role combines deep project management expertise with strategic business development leadership to drive growth and deliver exceptional outcomes for critical infrastructure projects across Western Canada. You will work in a hybrid environment based out of one of our Canada West offices.
What You'll Do
- Lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Lead major pursuits, including strategy development and tactical capture plans.
- Develop compelling proposal responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., technical, pricing, legal) to ensure compliant, high-quality proposal submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Parsons’ Business Acquisition Process.
- Analyze client capital plans and infrastructure investment priorities to identify strategic opportunities.
- Establish strong client interfaces and function as a relationship manager for select Western Canada clients.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging market trends, and evolving client requirements.
- Perform intelligence gathering to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in consulting engineering, project management, or a related field.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or a related professional field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Western Canada transportation markets and familiarity with regional municipalities and provincial ministry clients.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills to manage project and capture teams effectively.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with experience developing technical engineering narratives and competitive submissions.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing capture strategies and business development initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate metrics, identify risks, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively with a results-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of contract management, including understanding terms, conditions, and compliance requirements.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Salesforce/CRM is an asset (training available).
