Drive the growth of a leading design and manufacturing technology platform by building and managing strategic partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is central to shaping and executing a regional partner strategy that aligns with global product objectives, focusing on high-potential markets including Singapore, Japan, Korea, India, and Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive APAC partner strategy, identifying priority partner segments such as OEMs, hardware providers, independent software vendors, and digital marketplaces.
- Design and negotiate commercial models including revenue sharing, bundled offerings, embedded commerce, and licensing structures to support scalable deals.
- Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycles—from identifying opportunities to closing agreements—working closely with legal, finance, and product teams.
- Establish and manage operational frameworks for partner programs, including tiering, onboarding, certification, enablement, and portal adoption.
- Create standardized templates for term sheets, service level agreements, and onboarding workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Track and report on key performance metrics such as partner-sourced annual recurring revenue, pipeline contributions, net promoter score, and portal engagement.
- Host executive briefings, co-innovation workshops, and joint go-to-market initiatives to deepen partner relationships.
- Act as the internal advocate for partners, translating field insights into actionable input for product development, marketing, and sales strategies.
- Deliver regular regional performance reviews and refine playbooks based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in technology partnerships, business development, or go-to-market roles within design, manufacturing software, or connected hardware ecosystems. Strong negotiation skills and fluency in English are essential. Experience in APAC markets, including an understanding of local business practices and multilingual coordination, is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA, proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean, and deep familiarity with CAD/CAM, CNC, 3D printing, or manufacturing execution systems. Prior success launching scalable partner programs, designing new revenue models through bundling or embedded solutions, and operating in global, matrixed environments is highly valued.
