Drive the strategic direction for math curriculum marketing in the K–12 sector by developing annual and quarterly plans that align with product goals and market needs. You’ll lead the planning and rollout of new product launches, ensuring clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with educators, administrators, and decision-makers.
What You'll Do
Design and manage comprehensive marketing strategies that reflect deep audience understanding, using research and collaboration with product and sales teams to shape positioning. Map the buyer journey to inform content development, including case studies, testimonials, and sales proposals that highlight real-world impact.
Use data from HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Analytics to assess campaign performance and refine outreach strategies. Maintain consistency in messaging across all customer-facing platforms and ensure alignment with brand standards. Partner closely with product leadership to communicate new features and support sales enablement through training and tools.
Collaborate with content, events, and marketing teams to elevate visibility at regional and national conferences. Work with regional sales leaders to tailor messaging across the sales funnel—targeting influencers, decision-makers, and current customers. Support digital marketing efforts by guiding content for organic and paid social channels.
Contribute to market research initiatives to understand evolving curriculum trends at the state and national level. Analyze industry shifts and customer behavior to influence both marketing strategy and future product development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in strategic product marketing, with at least 3 years leading teams
- 5+ years focused on K–12 math curriculum marketing
- Proven success launching products in the education sector, particularly within state and district adoption cycles
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot, or Marketo
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience aligning marketing, product, and sales
- Ability to ask insightful questions to understand pedagogical changes and product nuances
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for simplifying complex ideas
- Skilled in managing multiple initiatives and stakeholder priorities simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
