As a Strategic Account Manager for the Nordic region, you will shape and execute account strategies that advance the adoption of innovative surgical technologies across key healthcare providers in Finland and Sweden. Your focus will be on building trusted partnerships with high-impact accounts, understanding their clinical and operational priorities, and delivering solutions that support better patient care and sustainable business growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with major surgical centers, identifying opportunities to align Alcon’s offerings with customer needs and patient outcomes.
- Create and implement strategic account plans, tracking performance against commercial objectives and adjusting tactics as needed.
- Negotiate contracts and lead tender processes, coordinating input from marketing, medical affairs, and regional teams to strengthen Alcon’s market position.
- Organize educational events and professional engagements to deepen customer engagement and support technology adoption.
- Provide insights on market trends, competition, and customer behavior to inform regional strategy and planning.
Requirements
- Background in ophthalmology, optometry, or medical devices with a focus on eye care.
- Proven experience managing complex accounts and delivering on sales or growth targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
- Experience with CRM platforms and structured account planning methodologies.
- Fluent in both Finnish and Swedish, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to operate independently while contributing to a broader regional team.
