Wonder Group is looking for a Strategic Account Manager - Merchant Accounts to own a portfolio of critical accounts in priority markets. You'll build strong relationships with partners, conduct business reviews, and drive new diner acquisition, conversion, and retention to strengthen the merchant network.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive retention, new diner acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and internal advocate for a portfolio of strategic accounts.
- Provide accounts with a contact number for emergencies and be available (or provide an alternative) at all times.
- Proactively identify and execute opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and expansion.
- Manage the renewal of all partner agreements.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to deliver tailored solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing data-driven insights and strategic guidance to partners.
- Travel to meet with top partners and attend key industry events.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience and High School degree/GED
- 4-6 years of account management or enterprise account management experience
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google products) with ability to quickly learn new software
- Native-level fluency in English
- Ability and desire to do whatever it takes to find solutions for merchants
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Confident making outbound dials on the phone
- Willingness/ability to travel and speak to restaurants in person
- Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals
- Impeccable organizational skills and ability to balance multiple tasks
- Self-starter with a strong bias towards action and problem-solving
- Outstanding, positive attitude with passion for working in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working with (or selling to) restaurant owners
- Restaurant experience
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish

- For California (Los Angeles): $88,000 - $110,000 base ($110,000 - $137,500 OTE range) + equity
