H.B. Fuller is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own and execute strategic plans for assigned global accounts. You will be responsible for driving commercial goals and building a robust sales funnel by leveraging expert coordination and influence.
What You'll Do
- Manage at least one global customer account
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans
- Build and maintain a sales funnel to secure future growth
- Drive commercial goals by optimizing share, price, and profitability
- Consistently apply established sales processes and tools
- Focus 40% of your time on growth initiatives and larger opportunities
- Train and mentor new sales professionals
- Negotiate pricing and margin using value selling and pricing tools
- Own and manage the contact matrix for all internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver customer insights and anticipate future needs
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sales or account management
- Proven ability to manage global accounts and lead complex negotiations
- Proficiency in Salesforce and pricing tools
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Nice to Have
- Experience in the adhesives, chemical, or manufacturing industries
- Advanced certifications in sales or account management
- Multilingual capabilities, such as Spanish or German
- Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to run technical trials and troubleshoot with R&D and Quality teams
