Hello Patient is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to oversee the health, retention, and growth of our customer accounts from signature through post-launch. As the primary relationship holder, you will ensure customers realize the full value of our platform, identify risks proactively, and help them expand their usage.
What You'll Do
- Own account health by maintaining real-time visibility into account performance, monitoring KPIs, investigating anomalies, and partnering with QA to resolve issues.
- Proactively communicate risks to customers and internal teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, establishing consistent communication rhythms and managing expectations.
- Advocate internally for customer needs.
- Lead customer-facing communications during implementation to build relationships and ensure smooth handoffs.
- Understand each customer's goals and success criteria.
- Partner with Business Analysts to define metrics, interpret performance data, and translate findings into clear narratives.
- Identify expansion opportunities based on performance and evolving customer needs.
- Partner with Sales and Solution Engineers to scope and support new use cases.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years in account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-directed with a strong bias towards action.
- Ability to think critically and independently through ambiguous problems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare, health tech, or working with medical practices.
- Proficiency using AI or automation tools daily to drive productivity.
- Background in operations, revenue cycle, or practice management.
- Comfort working with data—interpreting metrics, spotting trends, and using SQL or AI tools for basic data manipulation.
