What You'll Do
Drive end-to-end sales cycles for an advanced AI platform, targeting enterprise clients in the oil and gas and utilities industries. Focus on acquiring new accounts through proactive outreach, relationship development, and strategic positioning. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding each client’s operational landscape and aligning AI capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Partner with channel organizations such as cloud providers and system integrators to extend market reach and improve customer delivery. Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to generate and qualify pipeline, then guide opportunities from initial contact through proof-of-concept, negotiation, and contract close. Work alongside product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless deployment and long-term client value.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years in B2B enterprise sales, with direct experience selling to Global 2000 companies in energy or utilities
- Proven success closing multi-year SaaS contracts valued in the seven figures
- Strong understanding of AI, NLP, or API-based platforms, and ability to communicate technical value to non-technical leaders
- Experience navigating complex regulatory environments in energy or utility sectors
- Ability to engage C-suite executives and technical teams with equal credibility
- Self-driven with strong strategic thinking, especially in ambiguous or fast-moving conditions
- Deep curiosity about AI technology and a commitment to mastering platform capabilities
- Exceptional listening and communication skills, with a relationship-first approach
