About the Role

Files.com is hiring a Strategic Account Executive to hunt and close large enterprise deals with organizations generating $5 billion or more in annual revenue. This senior individual contributor role focuses on building a pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving IT infrastructure, security, and compliance decisions. Files.com is a profitable, founder-led SaaS company scaling intentionally.

What You'll Do

  • Build your own pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, executive networking, and referrals at companies with $5B+ in revenue.
  • Target and engage VP-level and above stakeholders in IT operations, infrastructure, data movement, security, and compliance.
  • Master the Files.com product, understanding its architecture, security model, compliance capabilities, and integrations.
  • Run deep discovery with infrastructure teams to surface pressures like legacy modernization, compliance risk, and operational complexity.
  • Close large, multi-department contracts by thinking strategically about enterprise-wide value.
  • Navigate complex deals, maintaining control across IT leadership, security teams, procurement, and executive sponsors.
  • Build, maintain, and accurately forecast a healthy pipeline, consistently achieving or exceeding quota.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of self-sourcing pipeline and closing net-new business at the enterprise level ($5B+ accounts).
  • Deep fluency in enterprise IT infrastructure; ability to hold a real conversation with a VP of IT Operations or Director of Network Engineering.
  • Combines technical credibility with executive presence and the ability to operate across both levels in the same deal.
  • Disciplined about prospecting, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution.
  • Thrives in long, complex sales cycles and knows how to maintain momentum across multi-stakeholder organizations.
  • Wants a territory that is theirs to build, with compensation that reflects what they close.
