AGCO Corporation is looking for a Statutory VAT & Regulatory Reporting Accountant to manage our VAT submissions and regulatory compliance. You will ensure the timely and accurate filing of VAT returns, handle related payments, and maintain reconciliations for our legal entities. This position is a key liaison between the business, tax team, and local authorities.

What You'll Do

Complete assigned entities VAT returns (including monthly, quarterly, bi-monthly and annual) and corresponding preparation of paperwork for payment.
Prepare the related balance sheet reconciliations for VAT and Tax and prepare the related journals to clear the balance sheet reconciling items.
Complete intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting.
Be the key point of contact between the business, tax team and local authorities.
Establish and manage strong relationship with tax team, external auditors, external tax advisors and other key stakeholders.
Support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within team.

What We're Looking For

2-5+ years' experience in VAT returns, Intrastat reporting, EC Sales and other regulatory reporting.
Hold a relevant tax or equivalent accounting qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA).
Must have practical VAT experience in an advisory, tax authority and/or industry role.
Must have experience in preparing and/or reviewing VAT returns and an understanding of overseas legislation/requirements.
Experience dealing and managing stakeholders remotely.
Capable of working independently with strong attention to detail.
