Temporal Technologies is hiring a Staff Solutions Architect - Singapore

Temporal Technologies is looking for a Staff Solutions Architect to be the primary customer-facing technical leader for the APJ region based in Singapore. You will work directly with prospects and customers to assess application fit for our platform, demonstrate its technical advantages, and own relationships with key technical decision-makers.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal’s platform.
• Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
• Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
• Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase Temporal adoption and expansion in production.
• Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
• Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers at customer organizations.

What We're Looking For

• Reside in Singapore and are eligible to work without sponsorship.
• Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
• Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
• Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
• Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
• Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping and sizing opportunities and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges.
