Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and development of scalable backend systems
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex software features
- Drive adoption of testing and quality assurance practices
- Improve system reliability and performance at scale
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing infrastructure
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
- Contribute to security and compliance standards
- Support deployment automation and CI/CD pipeline enhancements
- Define and document technical standards and patterns
- Work across service boundaries to ensure system cohesion
- Optimize database queries and data access layers
- Ensure observability and monitoring across services
- Promote engineering best practices across teams

Compensation
$180,000 - $220,000 base salary, with equity and benefits included
Work Arrangement
Hybrid remote with preferred locations in major U.S. tech hubs
