Responsibilities
- Establish and guide the future vision for the global architecture of the core credit card system, prioritizing scalability and ongoing technical evolution.
- Collaborate with senior business and product leaders to align technical roadmaps with strategic goals and define measurable outcomes with broad organizational impact.
- Serve as a role model for engineering quality, guiding senior technologists and cultivating a culture rooted in innovation, ownership, and technical rigor.
- Tackle high-complexity, high-stakes technical problems, especially those affecting system performance, reliability, and cross-border operations.
- Lead major system modernization initiatives, such as core banking transitions or legacy platform replacements, ensuring adherence to legal and financial regulations across jurisdictions.
- Articulate and advocate for technical strategies to executive stakeholders and non-technical audiences by clearly linking architectural choices to business value and market differentiation.
