Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision for the API platform and champion engineering initiatives that support scalable and maintainable systems.
- Lead the team in continuous improvement, fostering high productivity while supporting engineers' technical growth.
- Collaborate closely with engineering groups and act as a technical leader alongside the API team’s manager, representing API interests across organizational lines.
- Work with Product Management, Design, Data Science, and User Research to understand developer and automation use cases, then design effective technical solutions.
- Establish and promote API design standards, enabling product teams to adopt best practices independently.
- Build and refine full-stack systems to enhance developer experience by writing clear, maintainable code in Scala, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
