Responsibilities
- Design and enhance real-time API infrastructure to ensure high scalability, minimal latency, and sustained uptime of 99.99% to 99.999%.
- Lead end-to-end development of cross-platform initiatives including event-driven systems, service mesh deployment, observability frameworks, and traffic control mechanisms.
- Create strategic roadmaps for API ecosystems prioritizing scalability, long-term maintainability, and fast iteration cycles.
- Apply enterprise-grade architectural standards while aligning immediate project delivery with future platform vision.
- Develop reusable components, automation pipelines, and internal tools to increase engineering efficiency across teams.
- Embed artificial intelligence across all architectural layers to enable intelligent, autonomous system behaviors.
- Guide technical architecture for customer-facing products and internal platforms.
- Advance agent-driven automation and leverage Model Context Protocol (MCP) for scalable AI workflows.
- Design unified system architectures that seamlessly connect APIs, backend services, and frontend interfaces.
- Drive complex initiatives from initial concept through to production deployment, shaping technical decisions across multiple engineering groups.
- Conduct in-depth technical evaluations, design reviews, and incident analyses to elevate engineering standards.
- Encourage use of AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and LLM-enhanced workflows.
- Foster system-level design thinking by promoting shared frameworks and modular codebases.
- Lead the Exponential Engineer Initiative to advance AI-first development using reusable agents and automated platforms.
- Champion agent-centric architecture, abstracted prompting strategies, and developer empowerment practices.
- Assess and integrate emerging technologies, particularly in Generative AI, to boost engineering output and product capabilities.
