Maze is looking for a Staff Product Marketing Manager to shape how we show up in the market. This strategic role sits at the heart of our go-to-market engine, leading positioning, messaging, launches, and GTM alignment that sets the stage for growth and product adoption. You’ll be both an operator and a storyteller at our early-stage startup with under 150 team members.
What You'll Do
- Define and evolve positioning and messaging for core products, personas, and campaigns to ensure Maze stands out.
- Drive product launches from strategy through execution, including naming, narrative, packaging, and enablement.
- Translate market and customer insights into clear, differentiated messaging that influences buyers, influencers, and industry analysts.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to close feedback loops and align teams around GTM priorities.
- Collaborate with leadership and BizOps to refine our ideal customer profile, market segmentation, and buyer personas as we expand into the enterprise.
- Own GTM planning and rhythm, ensuring coordination between product roadmaps and customer-facing teams.
- Experiment with AI tools to streamline content workflows, speed up ideation, and scale strategic outputs across the team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing at B2B SaaS companies (start-up or growth-stage).
- Demonstrated success launching products, developing positioning, and enabling GTM teams in high-growth environments.
- Exceptional storytelling skills: strong narrative sense, excellent copywriting, and an eye for how messaging shows up visually.
- Systems-level thinking: ability to connect customer needs, product value, and market signals into a clear point of view.
- Operational acumen: comfortable managing GTM cadences, running cross-functional meetings, and owning key deliverables.
- Comfort with ambiguity and pace: resourceful, adaptable, and energized by solving big challenges with lean resources.
- Familiarity with AI and excitement about using it to work faster, smarter, and more creatively.
Nice to Have
- Experience in early- or mid-stage startups (Series A–C), particularly where resourcefulness was essential.
- Background or deep curiosity in the UX, product design, or user research space.
Team & Environment
You'll join an early-stage startup with less than 150 team members, dedicated to building an equitable, inclusive, and authentic workspace. We welcome unique and diverse perspectives and encourage continuous growth. You can directly impact our success and help shape the future as we lead the charge to eliminate the compromise between rapid development and user research.
