Oura is hiring a Staff Product Manager - Member Understanding & Intelligence. This is a staff-level individual contributor role with strategic ownership of the capabilities that transform Oura from a tracking device into a personalized health companion. You will connect company-level goals to concrete roadmaps for our personalization platform.
What You'll Do
- Shape the vision and strategy for member understanding and intelligence, defining a product vision for personalized experiences.
- Own outcomes across both platform and member experience layers, driving a roadmap balancing robust platform capabilities with member-facing features.
- Deeply understand our members and their health journeys by partnering with research, science, and data teams to identify contextual factors that drive personalization.
- Partner with senior and executive leaders to structure clear narratives and options for high-impact decisions in a high-ambiguity environment.
- Drive internal adoption of capabilities by working closely with other product teams to identify high-value integration points.
- Measure impact and learn fast by defining success metrics, instrumentation needs, and experimentation plans for Context Engines.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of Product Management experience in data platform, ML, or consumer technology products, with a proven track record of shipping successful products at scale.
- At least 2 years at Staff/Principal level or equivalent strategic scope.
- Production AI/ML Experience: Shipped ML-powered personalization or LLM features in production.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and managing cost/performance tradeoffs of AI at scale.
- Consumer Product Intuition: Experience shipping consumer-facing features at scale.
- Systems Thinking: Ability to design data architectures and ontologies that scale across multiple use cases and teams.

- Salary Range: Region 1: $198,050 - $233,000; Region 2: $180,200 - $212,000; Region 3: $169,150 - $199,000.

This is a remote position open to candidates on the US East Coast.
