About the Role
This position leads the development and support of IT network systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and alignment with business and security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable network architectures for enterprise environments
- Lead the integration of new network technologies and protocols
- Maintain and optimize core, distribution, and access layer networking equipment
- Ensure network security through proper configuration and monitoring
- Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple locations
- Support hybrid cloud connectivity and data center interconnects
- Manage network capacity planning and performance tuning
- Implement and maintain WAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure
- Oversee network automation and orchestration initiatives
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network access controls
- Document network topologies, configurations, and procedures
- Respond to network outages and execute recovery plans
- Evaluate vendor solutions for networking hardware and software
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support teams
- Participate in change management and network maintenance windows
- Monitor network traffic and identify potential bottlenecks
- Support global IT projects requiring network expertise
- Integrate monitoring tools for proactive network health assessment
- Maintain accurate network inventory and configuration management
- Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Drive standardization of network configurations and policies
- Work with cross-functional teams on infrastructure deployments
- Stay current with emerging networking trends and technologies
- Contribute to long-term network strategy and roadmaps
