Responsibilities
- Create and execute strategic sourcing plans for critical commodity categories, with a focus on life sciences
- Lead negotiations of Master Supplier Agreements covering pricing, supply terms, service levels, and quality standards
- Design supplier selection strategies tailored to specific categories such as plastic components, packaging materials, manufacturing chemicals, and capital equipment distribution
- Manage the preparation and execution of requests for information and proposals, including comprehensive bid evaluation
- Assess supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and reduce reliance on single-source suppliers
- Build and sustain long-term strategic sourcing partnerships with key vendors
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
- Adhere to regulatory standards and maintain alignment with ISO 13485 quality management practices
