About the Role

The role involves designing and deploying AI systems that enhance product capabilities, working across the development lifecycle to implement robust, maintainable solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven features in production systems
  • Collaborate with research teams to transition prototypes into scalable applications
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with security and compliance standards
  • Optimize machine learning models for performance and reliability
  • Work closely with product managers to align AI capabilities with user needs
  • Mentor junior engineers in best practices for AI development
  • Evaluate new AI frameworks and tools for potential adoption
  • Contribute to architectural decisions for data pipelines and model serving
  • Monitor deployed models for accuracy, drift, and operational health
  • Improve internal tooling for model training and evaluation
  • Document technical designs and implementation details
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems
  • Support audit readiness for AI components
  • Integrate third-party AI services where appropriate
  • Drive improvements in model explainability and transparency
  • Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
  • Ensure data privacy and access controls in AI workflows
  • Work with cross-functional teams to validate AI outputs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in applied AI
  • Balance innovation with technical debt management
