Drives sales and retention of senior health plan enrollments in the Los Angeles area through field-based outreach. Requires fluency in Spanish and English. Focuses on building relationships with providers and community partners, generating leads via local marketing, and delivering educational presentations.
Responsibilities
- Achieves or surpasses monthly sales and member retention targets.
- Builds and sustains relationships with contracted providers and community affiliates in assigned markets.
- Generates leads through grassroots local marketing initiatives.
- Participates in telemarketing blitzes as directed by management.
- Submits daily and monthly activity and production reports as required.
- Distributes CMS-compliant marketing materials to prospects, providers, and community partners.
- Delivers group or individual presentations to educate prospects and partners about health plans.
- Stays current on company updates, CMS regulations, and marketing compliance requirements.
- Attends ongoing sales training sessions and collaborates on best practices with internal teams.
- Conducts competitor analysis using SWOT frameworks as requested.
- Trained to support call center functions including telephonic enrollments, broker support, secret shopping, and inbound/outbound campaigns.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Minimum of two years of experience in B2B or B2C sales, clinical outreach, community engagement, or provider relations.
- High School Diploma or GED; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of relevant experience.
- Ability to educate and motivate providers, community partners, and members about health plans and services.
- Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with CMS marketing guidelines and compliance standards.
- Capable of professional, positive communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to build constructive relationships.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret simple statistics.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks, solving problems, and applying advanced reasoning to analyze issues and implement solutions.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Able to interpret and analyze statistical reports.
- Must hold and maintain an active Life & Health insurance license in the state of sale.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field activities.
Nice to Have
- Background in Medicare or health insurance is preferred.
- MBA degree is a plus.
