Responsibilities
- Lead field survey teams in executing boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
- Operate and maintain advanced survey instruments including total stations, GNSS receivers, laser scanners, levels, and data collectors.
- Create detailed field notes and sketches to accurately record survey activities.
- Follow project specifications, objectives, and schedules as directed by the Survey Team Leader.
- Use survey software to download, process, and verify data, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Support project monitoring, identify challenges, and apply solutions to stay within schedule and budget.
- Promptly report any project delays or issues to the Survey Team Leader.
- Enforce safety procedures, manage personal protective equipment inventory, and conduct regular equipment and vehicle inspections.
- Provide on-the-job training and basic supervision to junior crew members and support performance evaluations.
