We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build production-level reference architecture applications. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building back-end applications in AWS using Java, Springboot, Kubernetes, Kafka, Mongo, understands API and microservice concepts, built DR capabilities, and has utilized AI in generating code and tests. On the front-end, knowledge of Angular and Micro-Frontend approaches are ideal. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience designing and implementing technological solutions using Java and SpringBoot within cloud environments - Proficiency in Frontend WebApp development building SPA applications in Angular and deploying via AWS CloudFront - Experience building sync/async/batch back-end microservices. - Expertise in using AWS services like CloudFront, S3, SQS, Secrets Manager, KMS, API Gateway, IAM, EKS, ECS - Proficient at debugging full-stack issues including AWS cloud network, access or configuration issues - Kubernetes expertise running and debugging and optionally in admin/setup of clusters. - 1+ years Mongo/Atlas experience - Experience using Kafka - Experience in designing, building and documenting APIs (i.e. OpenAPI) and building REST and/or GraphQL endpoints and using API Gateways - Experienced with DR site fail-over, turn-away concepts and DR testing - Proficiency using AI to generate code, unit test/code coverage and API tests - Quality engineering experience running API, performance and scalability tests - Experienced working within Agile SDLC environments (Kanban or Scrum) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Good communication skills and collaborates well - Responsible and trusted employee that raises questions and concerns early and often. - Comfortable working in an Agile fast-paced environment - Self-motivated and self-sufficient and is willing to learn and work in environment with only directional guidance and minor hand-holding Strong project management skills, with experience delivering complex automation initiatives.
