Alcoa is hiring a Sr. Risk Analyst to lead the modernization of risk analytics and integrate risk insights into the strategic decisions that shape our global operations. You will predict problems, influence key choices, and tell the 'risk story' at a worldwide level.

What You'll Do

Design and oversee risk data modeling, exposure trending, and performance reporting using modern technology and automation.
Analyze operational risk trends, identify improvement opportunities, and develop leading and lagging risk performance metrics.
Embed risk information into planning, budgeting, and geospatial systems to influence business decisions.
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to standardize processes and share best practices.
Stay ahead of industry trends and deploy advanced analytics, including AI and machine learning, to enhance risk management.

What We're Looking For

5–10 years in operational risk management within multi-national corporations operating in asset-intensive industries.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Analytics/Information Systems, or a related analytical field.
Advanced data analytics and modeling expertise.
Ability to navigate and administer complex risk data systems.
Ability to successfully collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Asset Management, EHS, ESG, supply chain, compliance, and cyber/ICS.
Strong influencing skills, problem-solving, and ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments.
English proficiency required.
Ability to travel internationally 1–3 times per year.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI/ML in risk contexts is a plus.
French, Spanish, Norwegian, or Icelandic language skills a plus.
