Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing to provide strategic leadership for our Integrated Facilities and Property Management clients. In this role, you will leverage market intelligence and manage supplier relationships to deliver sustained client benefits.
What You'll Do
- Provide support to clients and internal stakeholders related to optimizing managed services operations and sourcing strategies.
- Lead a team of 2 direct reports.
- Deliver market, supplier, and operational intelligence for services operations.
- Identify and lead appropriate field resources to execute strategic initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert supporting JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management.
- Partner with clients and JLL teams to drive immediate and sustained client benefits.
- Perform periodic market trend analysis in specific categories and analyze supplier base and industry changes.
- Report analysis to Supply Chain and business stakeholders in a client-ready form.
- Oversee the implementation, coordination, and communication of regional and national programs.
- Support the Category Management team’s supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers.
- Provide management, instruction, and follow-up for operations teams' RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes.
- Proactively manage internal and external customer expectations.
- Convert supplier proposals into comprehensive and relevant scopes of work.
- Understand the complexities of facility management, sourcing, and vendor management at retail locations.
- Ensure compliance with JLL’s sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics.
- Establish a relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms comply with standards.
- Establish work priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve issues with Operations teams to assure client satisfaction.
- Support and assist in the development of diversity programs per client and company requirements.
- Mentor and educate suppliers through meetings.
- Participate in and provide leadership for Preferred Supplier performance review meetings.
- Support JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives.
- Navigate transitions between Principal and Agent Vendor Contracting models.
What We're Looking For

- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university.
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing or related experience.
- 3+ years in a client-facing role managing deliverables and expectations.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications.
Nice to Have
- IFM/Project Management and Procurement Operations experience.
- Experience with Aravo, Jaeggar CLM, and Corrigo (CMMS) platforms.
