Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the product security strategy in collaboration with the Chief Information Security Officer.
- Define and maintain security benchmarks for IoT devices, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, data handling, and third-party integrations, aligning with evolving cyber threats.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of product security engineers.
- Promote a collaborative, ego-free environment where security accountability is shared across teams.
- Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle through threat assessments, architectural reviews, and automation initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end vulnerability handling across firmware, mobile platforms, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Oversee offensive security exercises such as penetration tests and red team operations, ensuring findings lead to concrete improvements.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to embed security throughout product design and development, advising on risk implications.
- Serve as the primary representative for product security in leadership meetings, technical forums, and executive discussions.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry frameworks.
- Safeguard user trust by enforcing robust security protocols and managing external vulnerability disclosures responsibly.
- Support public communications related to security incidents or critical findings when transparency is required.
