Solenis is hiring a Sr. Manager, Business Development to focus on the Utilities side of operations for the Food & Beverage industry across North America. In this role, you will guide strategic business development efforts, identify new opportunities, collaborate with the Corporate Accounts team, and lead a team of Business Development Managers.
What You'll Do
- Guide business development efforts in a defined geographic region or customer group within the Food & Beverage utility sector.
- Identify untapped opportunities and attract new customers to expand Solenis’ footprint, brand presence, and market share.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Accounts team to implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Support new product introductions as part of a customer-centric acquisition strategy.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to marketing and R&D teams to help shape future innovations.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior partners and decision-makers at strategic customer organizations.
- Lead a team of Business Development Managers through coaching and mentoring to aid in successful development of opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in sales or business development in complex, B2B environments.
- Proven results in utilities, water treatment, or food and beverage sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher), or equivalent experience demonstrating ability to succeed in a fast-moving, collaborative sales environment.
- Strong track record of navigating competitive markets, managing key accounts, and capturing new business opportunities.
- Ability to travel 50-75% (based on geographic location).
