About the Role

ASR Group is hiring a Senior IT PMO Project Manager to lead the successful execution of transformational programs and projects. This senior role collaborates closely with IT and business leadership to deliver strategic roadmap capabilities and ensure initiatives drive value for all stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Manage IT Programs that interface with the CIO and IT/business leadership and deliver on strategic roadmap capabilities
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with change management excellence
  • Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders, sponsors and stakeholders
  • Define success criteria and ensure value realization throughout major project milestones
  • Effectively communicate and manage program expectations to project managers, owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders
  • Manage the IT project roadmap and provide regular updates to the CIO staff and business stakeholders
  • Evaluate and track ROI on all major project initiatives and synchronize IT project deliverables with business goals
  • Provide focus, consistency and on-going governance of IT programs
  • Review budget proposals and advises on program budgets
  • Establish key operational metrics and dashboards for portfolio, business reviews and project steering teams
  • Facilitate development and actively share of best practices through informal communication channels and formal training sessions
  • Work to resolve and escalate critical program issues for appropriate/timely resolution
  • Assess portfolio complexity and develop the right project team to drive successful execution
  • Manage all program aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program supports strategic objectives
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals
  • Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
  • Lead, direct and be accountable for the overall performance of the IT PMO team in the delivery of the portfolio
  • Create organizational credibility with respect to all project management deliverables and process efficiencies
  • Continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive Program and Project Management discipline knowledge and skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence at all levels and lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills complemented by solid business and technical background
  • Expert problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams in an international environment
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships cross-functionally in technology, finance and operational business
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Experience in IT financial management and organizational change management
  • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Proficiency on MS Tools: MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts

  • Other language skills a plus, but not required

Team & Environment

You will be a key member of the IT PMO team, reporting directly to the CIO. You will lead and be accountable for the team's performance in delivering the portfolio.
