About the Role
This position involves providing advanced technical support for industrial packaging systems, including on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair services. The technician ensures equipment reliability and customer satisfaction by diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and commission industrial machinery at customer sites
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using technical documentation and tools
- Ensure all service work complies with safety and quality standards
- Document service activities and maintain accurate field service reports
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex technical problems
- Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools for field service needs
- Follow regulatory and company safety protocols during all on-site activities
- Support warranty claims and coordinate replacement part logistics
- Track equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades
- Adhere to service level agreements and meet response time commitments
- Use diagnostic software and test equipment to assess system performance
- Provide feedback to engineering teams on recurring field issues
