Responsibilities
- Direct the creation of construction blueprints, contractual agreements, and engineering documentation
- Establish project parameters, estimate costs, manage financial allocations, and allocate resources to meet deadlines and fiscal targets
- Monitor project timelines and issue monthly billing statements along with comprehensive Project Status Reports to clients
- Assist in or take charge of new business development efforts
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, the FAA, and other critical stakeholders
- Organize project meetings, draft agendas and timelines, and record decisions to maintain alignment and progress
- Evaluate client-submitted materials such as as-built drawings and design analyses, and coordinate with subconsultants for surveying, geotechnical work, and technical services
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local grant procedures and environmental standards
- Manage procurement activities including pre-bid conferences, addendum preparation, and bid evaluation
- Supervise change order processing, conduct construction-phase site inspections, and uphold quality assurance protocols
- Examine and authorize final engineering plans, compile cost summaries, and perform closeout inspections with regulatory and client representatives
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across all stages of project execution
- Strengthen client partnerships by uncovering expansion opportunities during proposal and solicitation phases
- Partner with leadership on client experience, risk mitigation, and financial outcomes while mentoring team members
